19/365 Al Fresco Dining -(Bangkok, Thailand)

 19/365 – Al Fresco Dining – Bangkok

Dotted along sidewalks and alleyways of Bangkok are umbrellad stalls cooking up local delicacies, primarily enjoyed by locals who live or work in the area. It’s not entirely clear how the stall owners manage to keep the food from spoiling (assuming they do) in the extreme heat and humidity, but most of the tables and stools seem to be occupied during operating hours.

Wathing the crowds ebb and flow through a particular food filled area, one can’t help but believe that the sight and smell of the food, sizzling over hot griddles or crisping golden in vats of boiling oil, has the potential to lure in,and even turn, the most cautious eater into a local foodie.
