58/365 Tide Pool Reflections (Kerala, India)

  58/365 – Tide Pool Reflections

Every morning one can find small pools of clear water dotted along the beach-the remains of the incoming tide the night before. By mid-morning, the fishermen have already tented their boats with braided palm leaves- a cool place to rest as the fiery sun climbs higher and higher into the blue sky.  They bide their time napping on the covered boats or gathering near the tide pools, waiting for the sun to go down so they can push their boats into the water and once again lay their nets.

I love the symmetry in this particular shot -like looking at the same scene from two different perspectives.
